In collaboration with the University of Luxembourg, the Economist Club Luxembourg (ECL) had the pleasure of inviting the two winners of the traditional ECL Prize for Best Master Theses in Economics and Finance 2023 on 10th July 2024.
The audience warmly welcomed Emma C. Thill for her Master’s thesis « The Determinants of Female Underrepresentation in Municipal Politics in Luxembourg » and Pavel Stupatskii for his Master’s thesis « Capital Requirements and Financial Stability ». As Pavel is currently pursuing his PhD in Economics at the University of Pennsylvania in the US, he participated via video conference, while Emma presented her work live.
A Question and Answer session provided an opportunity for the audience to gain valuable insights.
The ECL looks forward to continuing and deepening its excellent cooperation with the University of Luxembourg.
